Mostly, I hate the hats
I saw on the morning “news” that people are outraged that the official Olympics uniforms for the American athletes were made in China. Well there are about 3 companies that make their clothes in America, so I cannot for the life of me understand why this is 1) news 2) shocking or 3) outrageous. Almost every single item in my house was made in China. Last year I bought a couch that was made in North Carolina and I force visitors to admire it…because it’s so rare.
Let’s talk about the real problem: The outfit is dated and ridiculous and should only be worn by the Skipper at a Gilligan’s Island reunion.
Ralph Lauren is the designer and apparently he is stuck on a Yacht in the Hamptons in some sort of time warp. (Although sometimes he time travels to a Navajo gathering in the 1800s…)
Apparently the British aren’t thrilled with their Stella McCartney-designed uniforms either.
Because she didn’t use enough red.

I think they look like flight attendants for Air France.
